Computer Software Engineer: Confer with management and production staff
regarding design, development, deployment and administration of projects
for web based applications; Administrate, Coordinate and direct
installation and custom configuration of projects, monitor and maintain
software components that runs on production servers using different OS such
as Sun Solaris, HP-UX, LINUX, AIX and Windows. Secured data maintenance
using Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas File System, Veritas Cluster Server,
Veritas Net Backup, Sun Solstice Disk Suite and Sun Clustering. Making
detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct technical activities; Analyze
and develop tools for network automation based on resource needs and market
demand using Perl, Shell Programming, J2EE and network protocols/tools;
Implementing, administrating and monitoring web servers such as Web Sphere,
Web Logic, Iplanet, Apache, JBOSS and Tomcat. Oversee installation security
in web applications using open SSL, self-signed and Certificate Authority,
Site-minder; Develop policies regarding capacity planning, performance
tuning of J2EE applications.
Required Degree: Master of Science in
Information Technology (or foreign degree equivalency)
Required Experience: 1 year in the job offered.
